Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas and joyful New Year - see you in 2011! xxo

Lucho, La and I headed up the coast for a festive lunch with the Foremans. Larissa had organised a day filled to the brim with fun things to do.

First, attract all the neighbourhood lorikeets to the deck for snacks...
...get all the cars out in NSW and play for a bit...
...head to the Entrance for a picnic lunch...
...with some swimming fun afterwards...
...in the bubbly jets in the water park...
...some rock fishing too...
...and a pelican feeding show to finish off the afternoon!
We were still going strong by the end and enjoyed a lovely dinner before heading back that night. Phew! Thanks for having us - we had a fabulous time! xxo
Stormy had a spot of bother with his back the other week so he's been on "bed" rest - well as much as a puppy can be anyways. So, we have been puppy-sitting for a few days while Jill is at work.

La has loved having Stormy around - she sits by his pen to have picnics, play barbies and read stories. All afternoon she says "I love you Stormy!" And still, Sami says no to a puppy dog! One day...
The other Friday we had a busy day of Christmas Parties - yay! We love the festive season!

First stop was mother's group party where we got to give all our little friends their little presents. Jye, the baby of the group is tucking in here.
Chippies all lined up in a row to cool. Not that the kids were that interested - too busy playing!
Next stop was Lucho's house for a Christmas dinner. Here is Stormy stealing the limelight. Alara is hugging the tree. She did that a lot that night.
Morgs and Sami.
Stormy.
La as the night wore on - she wore out!
For the first time ever in a house where I reside, there is a Christmas tree. Not spending most, if not all, Christmases at home I have never bothered, but now that La is at a reasonable age (meaning - doesn't destroy trees) we put one up. I'm feeling very festive now...

Tex, Addie and Mac all have their birthdays at around the same time so a big party was had to celebrate.

Mac is 2, Addie is 3 and Tex is 5. We often remind their mother that 3 under 3 at the time was a bit brave!!
La waiting in anticipation of sweeties!
Clowns provided the entertainment, fun and games for the day. They also freaked out unsuspecting phobic adults a little as well. A good day and a good show - thanks for all the fun!
Jimayne from our mother's group married her main man Jamie the other weekend in a beautiful, simple and poignant ceremony.

The happy couple!

La all dressed up and ready to go to the ceremony. She continued on to Jill's afterwards so we could kick back and party the night away.
The cake was very simple - but the flowers were so lovely and gorgeous - the colours were amazing.
The original five. So happy to share such a special day with J - here's to you both!
First, way back when, we gave Lucho a shirt from Turkey. Now that he has grown out of it - La gets to wear her national pride about.
Very photogenic these two.
A family shot.
Baby Jye was christened the other Sunday morning and it was celebrated with a lovely little ceremony and brunch.
Linda, Jye, Sienna and Eddy - thanks for the lovely morning - congratulations Jye!
La La's 3rd birthday continued with another round of partying in the afternoon with Lucho, Jill and Morgs coming over for a celebratory dinner. And, making his first appearance here in blog world - introducing Stormy - Lucho's miniature dachshund. Welcome to the family!

La and Toby are sorting out who are the puppy carriers while Buzz popped over to see what all the fuss was about. He was in the middle of a round of golf.
La's newest, bestest friend ever. Stormy the Handbag, er, puppy.
This is what Ma Ma's are born to do.
La opening her present from Auntie Lou - a fab outfit and a windsock for her cubby.
A present from Lucho's Grandma Gail, "my special new knickers" as La calls them.
A dress from Morgs brought all the way back from Zim - perfect for hot summer days.
Auntie Julz sent La a Mrs Potato Head which was subsequently not put down the rest of the day.
Auntie Kara also sent La a little bag full of treasures and a much needed bunch of rainbow hairbands.
And finally, Ma Ma found La a perfect little swimsuit for her lessons - we were in dire need of a new pair!
The night ended with cake (only video evidence, not pictorial) and fireworks. Thanks everyone for making it such a special, fun and happy day! xxo
In anticipation of Jimayne's upcoming nuptials, her Nana Bev put on a lovely kitchen tea to help celebrate the event.

Carey did a great job with the cake.
Nana Bev, the gracious host and pavlova extraordinaire.
Jimayne with her Cooper - who by this stage had almost had the day up to here.
So, it's Nana Kerrie to the rescue! Nana Bev is Coops great grandma.
A lovely day with lots of kids zooming about, cups of tea, lots of laughs and a few sentimental moments thrown in. Bring on the big day!
La turned 3 the other week and to help celebrate, Ma Ma, Lou and Tobs flew up for a quick, birthday visit.

Ma Ma was swiftly employed as swing pusher from the start.
La and Toby posing together and kind of enjoying it...
I just love the expression on Toby's face here!
The big day arrives! Thanks A. Lou for decorating the cake - I couldn't have done it as well myself....seriously - I couldn't!!!
First stop - playing at the park for morning tea with mother's group.
Sienna brought La some balloons which everybody loved.
Diving into the chippies with Tex.
Ma Ma and Toby singing happy birthday (well, I don't know really if that is what was happening - but it looks like it doesn't it?)
Baby Cooper - well, not so baby anymore, but he's still our baby coops.
