Dave's parents have flown over to meet Mr Max Foreman and we couldn't let the occasion pass without a quick visit to say hello and dive into some amazing Jane and Christina gourmet delights!
 On the road...
Dave's childhood favourite - Shortcrust Treacle Pie...
...so delicious, looked like it came straight out of a story book! I didn't get pictures of the other dishes, safe to say we were too busy eating to think to grab the camera!
A little stroll down to the park in the afternoon to get some fresh air and stretch the legs. Thanks for having us Foremans! Have a great holiday Jane and John!

La had her first school disco the other afternoon - VERY EXCITING TIMES!!! Count the sleeps kind of times....
All dressed up in outfit carefully selected...
...Leyla pretending to be excited about something she had no idea about and wasn't going to but still accessorised accordingly!
It was dark, lots of glow sticks and loud. Fantastic for the kids, but now I want one of my own!
I found this sign after La's friends came to play one afternoon. Sienna had put it up on the door of La's cubby under the stairs.
Can you work it out? I'm curious now about what kind of entertainment they'll be providing....

Leyla is being very Leyla in this post...
 Pony tails!
 Learning the guitar.
Loving big people shoes at the moment - no ones are safe!
Concentrating exceptionally hard (for a millisecond!)...
...a culmination of scratchings over the morning.
When Sami and Leyla hang out, there always seems to be a photo album as a result...
Not just sitting pretty this time - finally figured out how to go forward!
Vegemite Face!

The Moscow Circus came to town the other week and unlike others that have blown through, we heard many good things about this one and decided to take La and Lucho for a look.
La dressed up and ready to go - the boots are the flavour of the season at the moment!
Sitting and waiting in anticipation for it to start.
It was fantastic, lots of acrobatics, tricks and stunts. We loved it!
Morgs and his mates are always good for some adventurous fun and this afternoon was no exception with a zip line set up for the kids to have a go.
La hanging about up the top...
...she needed a bit of help to get back down as she was a little light. La loved it though, not a moment of hesitation at all - she was in!

The wait is over! We finally have our newest Foreman addition - welcome Mr Max! We went up to Avoca for our first visit 3 weeks after Max arrived and we all got our cluck on and cuddled the day away!
Very reminiscent of La as a baby with a full head of hair...
Group shot - just pretend Leyla was willing to sit in...
Off for an afternoon jaunt to Terrigal to the lookout and a swim...
...and to the most perfect ever hill to roll/fall down for the kids!
Parents of 3 now - looking super fabulous and hardly tired at all (yet!)
Christina has honed her parenting skills with Leyla and has stepped in as Max's sister-mummy.
Perfect little rolling waves to practise catching...
...lucky they had on wetsuits or they would've been out after a couple of minutes.
Leyla wasn't at all fussed about not going in...
Sand, climbing and cuddles - who needs to get wet?
There was absolutely no chance of either of us getting even our toes wet but we were happy to send our kids in!
All washed and warm ready for dinner. Max is snuggled up in the blanket we gave him - he'll be all set for winter now. So happy for the Foreman's with their party of five - congratulations! x

I had a wonderful Mother's Day this year - woke up late to a cup of coffee and a trashy mag in bed - in peace and alone! Then Jill and Lucho came around for a nice little lunch to celebrate being mummies while the daddies went to work.
La put a lot of effort into wrapping my gifts with a very Autumnal theme.
 Inside my card...
Leyla gave her card the best scribbles she could muster with the present La picked out for her to give to me.
We are all loving the Mother's Day stall at school - I will be smelling very nice for the next few months.
La loving her side ponytail and clip-ons. Leyla was around that day, but I seemed to have missed her in the photos strangely enough. She must have been having a "Leyla" day that day!
Jill brought me around some lovely stems to brighten the table over lunch.
