The week before going to Turkey - a few moments and Fathers Day.
All excited in anticipation for their trip.
Leyla and I playing the waiting game that's part and parcel of having growing kiddies. Waiting today for La to finish footy.
Happy Days! La's always smiling.

Father's Day morning - Lucho had a sleepover the night before. His Dad Day events were scheduled for after Morgan's work. Leyla is holding up the keyring La picked for her to give to Sami from the school stall.
Just a few small items La thoughtfully picked out. A water bottle (Sami was the only one of the family to not have his own), chocolates, the keyring and La's card she made and wrote out in Turkish all by herself.
You'd be hard pressed to find a more content and blissfully happy Dad than our Sami. xx

I wanted La to get a haircut before she left on her trip, just a tidy up really. But, she asked the lady to cut it "short" so that's what she got!
We were both a little surprised but La was very happy with her new style and super excited to be the only girl in the whole school with short hair!
Later on that afternoon it was time for Sienna's birthday party - the theme was Monsters High.
We found some perfect pink for her hair and hoped the rest of the outfit would pass muster with the diehard fans.
Said diehard fans. Sienna and Tayah.
Linda and Jimayne did an awesome job with the cake.
And Linda had the buffet stocked full of themed treats.
La stayed behind afterwards with a few others for a sleepover with Sienna and had a ball of course. Here they are finding a new and novel way to use Eddy's tattoos. Funny. Thanks for the great weekend Sienna! x

The usual, the everyday, the mundane - but equally lovely of course!
 Popcorn - a favourite.
These just appeared on the camera. I'm not sure where I was or what I was doing. Obviously not minding the children......(!)
Leyla with her friends Lacey and Cooper getting ready for a play swim.

Lucho had his First Communion recently and we were invited along with the family to help celebrate!
All dressed up and ready for church, conveniently a short walk down the road at Lucho's school. It was probably the last day of the season for winter coats. They didn't last long on...
After the service it was time for some photos. Lucho wasn't feeling great that day, but he was a trooper for showing up and luckily, felt a bit better as the day went on.
 The Trio.
Grandma Gail and Grandad John came down for the occasion...
...as well as Jill's Aunt and Uncle, Robyn-ann and Bruce.
As you can see, my two fairly comfortable with mixing it with family.
The cake after having lunch at the Rowing Club. Lovingly made by Jill and adequately decorated by me. Thanks for the lovely day out Lucho! x
