Wishing everyone a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year!

We'll be off down to the farm for the holidays so will pick up from where we left off when we get back. Lots of love and thanks for keeping up with all our news from week to week.

The end of the year is full of fun and festivities. We love this time of year!
Lacey turned 4 and had a little party at the wave park.
Super excited to have her photo taken.
 Cutting the cake.
We were blessed to have Nat, Julz, Lexie, Mitchell and Lizette come to stay a few days as they traveled up to their Smith Family Christmas.
 Getting in some Zetty cuddles.
In their birthday clothes from Julz and the kids. Just in time for Auntie Ruth who popped over for a visit and some morning tea...
...and to get her fill of all the little ones!
Rock climbing was the activity chosen for the afternoon and these two rocked at rock climbing!
Even Uncle Nat had a go.
La is racking up some PB on the wall. We also went and had some frozen yogurt at YogurtLand which was a nice way to cap off a lovely little stay.
Off to the central coast for a Christmas visit with the Foremans. A hot day meant backyard water frolicking and a trip to the beach (not pictured).
 Kicking back with Dave.
 Never a dull moment...
Some very excited present giving and receiving...
Topping off a fantastic day out - we love sharing Christmas with our nearest and dearest!

As the year marched on, so did the list of things we had to do. Not that any of it was a struggle...
The aforementioned Follies Christmas Show that La was in at school.
Leyla all dressed up for a walk to the park.
 Rafting season has begun.
Very well worn Frozen pjs from Ma Ma.
 These two.
 Skating with friends.
Leyla is getting better every time we go.
 Swimming with friends.
 Cheeky monkeys.
La in her end of year gymnastics display.
 Here comes her part...
 ...and then her cartwheel solo.
An amazing end to a wonderful year at gymnastics for La.

And so the day finally arrived! Leyla turned 4 and Alara turned 8.
Early morning call from Pa for some birthday love.
La was super stoked to finally get a pair of roller skates.
And Leyla was super surprised to find a complete Princess Elsa outfit, gloves and all.
A lot of mirror gazing happened that morning.
La went off to school to celebrate with her class and get ready for their first performance of the Christmas Follies. Leyla and I kept Davy company while Ma Ma, Lou, Toby and Beau went to watch the Follies themselves.
 This happened.
Aunty Ruth come over for a special birthday afternoon tea to see the girls.
La in her birthday outfit from her shopping trip with Aunty Lou.
All kept occupied with new colouring equipment - thanks Ma Ma and Aunty Kara!
Lucho and his folks came over for a birthday dinner with their gift of a slip and slide which was fantastic.
Dancing in the back yard. Lucho and Beau have their band outfits sorted, now for a name...
Alara's cake this time. A kit kat cake with melted embellishments.
 Love these two to bits.
A rare family shot. We had a fabulous week as always with the birthday crew - thanks for coming to stay and we'll see you real soon xx

We are always super excited for Birthday Week when Ma Ma, Aunty Lou and the boys come to visit. Everyday we go and find fun things to do.
Leyla and Beau. The best of friends and the worst of friends.
Leyla getting her fill of Ma Ma cuddles while she can.
Hot, hot days made it a bit of a trick to sleep at night - especially when the power goes off! But, during the day it means we've got a good excuse to go down the river for a swim.
 Packed like sardines.
Sami headed upriver. To escape the noise maybe?!?!
 Boards and Boats.
 All cooled down now.
The girls had their very own Davy toy.
Rock climbing. Keen to build on last years skills and everyone did amazingly well.
 Inside swimming this time.
 Good times at dinner.
Cake at the park to celebrate the girls birthdays with a few of their friends. Aunty Lou brought her face paints and was a hit with all the kids.
 The Scare Brothers.
Davy could sit still enough for a flower.
Lou at work with the other kids.
 The Tribe.
We had Leyla's lolly cake that she choose for this event.
A hit with ALL the kids. Leyla knows her audience.
Looking a bit spick to go out to dinner.
 At Blaxland Adventure Park.
Lots of different things to do.
La on top of the hill.
 Again.
Toby couldn't resist the climb either.
Leyla settled for this instead. Next post will be all about the main event - the Birth Day!
