I didn't tell them what they were watching...
It's All About La today - just to see what she's been up to...
We've always thought La looked more like Sami, but this snapchat face-swap kinda disputes it I think. Not that I've done her any favours mind you...
Athletics Day for La who did a great job in her races and tried hard with the field events. A few firsts, some seconds and a lot of good try's - well done La!
La's class singing a song in Mandarin for a school event.
Book Week. The mandate (issued by me) was to find something to put together from whatever we had at home that didn't involve a lot of effort from me. And she succeeded. Hello Sunday Chutney.

School Photo 2016

The middle weekend of the holidays had Aunty Lou and the boys come and stay for a few nights and keep us company.
It was bonfire time again with all the kids clearing the yard of all its burnable stuff and dragging it to the fire.
Will keeping it tidy with his rake.
Lucy and Leyla keeping it mellow with the fire-side stares.
Conversations from one island tree to another.
 Twister.
The week flew by with visits and playing and farm work not captured on film. Our last weekend arrived with Nat and Julz and the kids coming over for a stay and some altogether-again time. Here we are making the most of the all-you-can-eat pizza and pasta night at the Mundulla Pub.
 Zetty Betty.
At the footy in Mundulla on Saturday with all the crew.
 Leyla and Zetty hanging out.
It was a nice day out, not too cold so Old Pa came along too.
The line up that day had Dad umpiring...
...Uncle Steve doing his best waving his goal flags...
...Beau playing his game of footy at half time...
...and watching Lou play her A-grade game of netty.
Zetty and I just hanging out on Sunday morning, waiting for the masses to arrive at Lou's for lunch...
 ...and they did!
Lucy is super happy about having an ice cream and a photo with Leyla. Look how Leyla is careful not to get her sticky fingers on Lucy's jacket - that's best friend stuff for sure.
Something's going down in the hood...
Aunty Kara's always up for a bit of swing pushing bless her. I like to outsource my pushing to the older kids (isn't that why we had them?!!?)
Trying to get a pic of all the kids together. I think that there'll be some more successful ones in the other blogs.
Heading to Nat and Julz's place for a night on our way home with a few extra's in the back. Thanks for having us everyone - we love our farm visits and can't wait to be back at the end of the year!
