It's time to capitalise on that first place win of La's at school and see what she can do at this year's District Cross Country...
 Rosie wishing her good luck...
 That Year Six Lyfe.
Hugs all round after the race with Georgia.
And how did La go? 8th place this year and lucky for her - the first 8 get to go on to the Zone Carnival.
Well Done La! (Pictured with her #1 fan). You worked hard for this result, each year getting closer and closer and now you finally made it - and finally, a different colour shirt haha
We seem to attract the colour maroon...
Alara has joined her first basketball team outside school and is now putting last year's Aussie Hoops drills and practice into play.
La's in her last year of primary school and after careful consideration, voting and designing, their Year 6 shirts and caps are in.

Year 6 & 2. Don't rush to print folks - I've got a trillion or so copies...
We interrupt these regularly scheduled school holidays for quick Easter Long Weekend...
Lucky Easter Bunny pays attention...
Easter Sunday off to a good start...
...we headed over to Jill's for a BBQ and still, no one has piped up to say that they're too cool to hunt for Easter eggs.
And, the day ended in the best possible way with Ma Ma and Pa arriving in time for dinner and a spontaneous holiday - perfect timing for the second week of school holidays and a lovely surprise.
Now, what to do this trip? We revisited an old favourite and a new one for Leyla to The Rock Lookout over the Nepean River and hiked on to Riley's Mountain Lookout which ended up being a little more than what we bargained for (see Mum's blogpost for more detail).
Such a pretty view!
It's always fun to go shopping with Ma Ma to run a few errands while she's in the big smoke.
Leyla challenged Pa to a UNO marathon everyday and you'd think after 50+ games he would improve a little - nope. (haha)
Anzac Day we ventured up north a little to a new spot, fresh for us and also dog friendly for Rosie - first stop was at Wheeny Creek campsite - such a lovely little spot.
Next, following Comleroy Road up to the Upper Colo Reserve where we scoped out the big camp ground and the adjacent river - perfect for camping and swimming.
And of course La couldn't help herself!
Pa's turn...
Our annual go to dinner photo with Ma Ma and Pa - the theme this year was Italian so Valentino's it was - thanks for shouting us dinner and we can't wait to see you again very soon! xx

Yay! Schools out and it's time to enjoy a holiday at home for a change...
First off the bat is a local colour run free for the community.
Lucho came down for a look but was too cool to get splashed with colour of course.
Lacey and Tay joining forces with Leyla and La.
We are always up for trying new things and so we booked in the girls for a tennis holiday "camp" to officially give tennis a go.
We made use of our all-access passes to gyms about the place and spent the morning at a local inflatable place.
Practicing gymnastics is never far from these girls minds.
Always a moment to stop and get some Rosie cuddles.
Never, ever too old to play with bubbles...
