What have we been up to? Oh, just the usual...

La has had a fun year so far trying new sports while also improving with her usual ones...

 This year saw La join the school soccer team - a team with no experience or a single player who had ever played a regular game and to their credit they made it through 3 rounds of the competition.

 Every game they learnt new skills, everyone's confidence improved and they were competitive until the end. Such a great team experience for La.

 La's first Zone Cross Country Carnival finally arrived...

 ...we had to be up at sparrows and at the very special Sydney Motorsport Park to walk the course and generally freeze to death.

 I'm sure for those Rev Heads among us this would a fab place to experience.

Well Done La! Crossing the finish line at around 37th we think out of a field of about 80 - such a great achievement La to make it to the next level this year.

While we certainly are not rushed off our feet, life is always fun and interesting at just the right pace at our place...

 Some epic tie-dying going on here with almost every white article in the house not safe from being cast back into the 1970's.

 Aunty Ruth and Uncle Bill took these two to their first ever Show the other Saturday. They could hardly contain their excitement and spent the day on rides, eating all the show food and watching the exhibits. We are so lucky and thankful to have Bill and Ruth in our lives for sure.

 Not much photographic evidence but Leyla went to her first Gymnastics Pajama Party the other day - movies, playing, treats and more - very all-grown-up going to her first "party" alone.

 Mother's Day 2019. A very needed new umbrella for the car and an essential Alpaca Bag for me to use instead of green bags at the shops.

Very lovely, well-thought out messages of love in the morning and then we headed out near Richmond to a new dog park and stop by the river for a play and walk.

 Jye and Eddy's birthday - a mostly family affair where we usually insert ourselves but we just can't resist Linda's amazing cooking and hospitality.

 I think their selfie game needs a little work...

The SRC had a Pink and Pajama Day at school to raise money for charity - I can't believe how excited kids get to wear their PJ's out and about - although me going out in my dressing gown is totally not on apparently.....
