Sister Laura made the trip across the time zones to come and play for a few days and marvel at the grace and elegance of the burgeoning body. Once satisfied with the sideshow act, we spent a lovely few days shopping, shlepping and catching up.

This should surprise no one who knows our Louie. The Karaoke Queen of Mundulla continues her world domination of all venues and occasions that involve a microphone.
Before and after - girlies, this is what could happen, let it be a lesson to you all!
38 weeks and counting...December 4, here we come!
Stepped in as substitute for Jill and took Lucho to his friend, Bartek's, 3rd birthday party on Sunday.
The theme was penguins, so between Jill's creativity and my handiwork with the scissors and cardboard, we achieved something at least. Hopefully Jill's vision was not lost in the transition and Lucho kinda, sorta resembles a penguin.
Of course the costume lasted a good two minutes upon arrival, but the afternoon was spent playing fun party games, eating socially-correct party food and wishing all the presents received were for me instead! (Bartek, two north of Lucho)
A very punctual Lucho waiting for the cake to be cut.
We are nearing the end of the bump journey, only 1 month to go before it potentially goes to pot. No, she'll be right mate, no worries eh? ... (!?!)
35 weeks. I'm told on good authority that having your hands on your rear reduces its proportion and eliminates the squish of the upper butcher arm. If anyone has anymore brilliant ideas, I am sure I can put them to good use.
36 weeks. If that's the difference a week makes, I'm not sure I want to wait a few more!
36 weeks. I forgot, it's not all about me. Take a look at precious here, whose lips do you think it has?
Just because it happens to be a child of Narelle, when asked nicely to put on a good show for the camera, it obligingly doesn't. Good to know it has some semblance of manners though, all its fingers are showing, contrary to what its father thinks.

Thanks for coming to visit, we love you guys!
Enjoying one last hurrah before Lexie and Co leave to go back to Toowoomba.
Last minute cuddles for Uncle Sami.
Not sure about the people at the table next to us, do you think you could keep it down over there?!?
"I'll have the cab sav with my meal thanks. Oh, could you make mine with salad instead of vegies, with the dressing on the side but hold the tomato...sorry, changed my mind, make it the pasta special of the day instead, does that have cream in it? Garlic? I'm not a fan of garlic you see...I'd better change my drink order too, can you give me a minute?"
The tour continues, from the sunny shores of the Sunshine Coast to the dreary, rain soaked artifical turf of Penrith, the game was on. With Sami in absentia, his memory was honoured by the odd really bad shot. The course was a monotonous 2 par most of the way with the odd stump obstacle in the way, but nothing could dampen our enthusiasm in continuing the tradition.
Playing with an obvious handicap...she thinks she's Wonder Woman.
Nathan's guns couldn't slow him down, evidently they're no good as speed bumps.
All the sass in the world couldn't get Julz out from behind, she came a respectable 3rd out of 3.
Just when it was all done and dusted, Nathan pulled out his master stroke...
...and the winner was Nathan by 2, and Lexie by a million if you are counting in cute.
Taking a bit of a goose at the vista overlooking Penrith Valley.
Honestly, being famous is such a drag sometimes.
Now acting like a couple of geese, looking out over Penrith Valley. A deja vu moment folks.

This is why we do it isn't it? You have to love it...and love it even more when they do your housework!
Enjoying a night out with the Heinrich's and McQuaid's with an Ercan and a Masuku thrown in for good measure.
Exceptionally good fish and chips.
3 lovely ladies...
Ma Ma and Lexie...
...and mummy Julz.
One of the stars of the show outshining us all.
Our entertainment was sorted for the night with these guys, Milkshake Man Lucho and Lively Legs Lexie keeping us thoroughly amused.
A little taste of what I do for a crust, or, did actually. I have now finished up in the pool and look forward to teaching my own little ones how to be water safe. Here's our Lexie joining one of my Saturday water babies class with mummy Julz. Lexie's a pro from way back, she's been swimming since she was 4 months old back in Toowoomba.
Running, 1-2-3!
Ma Ma and Pa made the trip north to our house in Sydney for one last visit sans bebe and to meet Nathan, Julz and Lexie who travelled south for a wee little Sydney holiday.
Most of the tribe at Bents Basin enjoying a Sunday picnic. Our bestest buddy Lucho joined in the fun and was Lexie's helper for the day.
Bents Basin just south of Penrith near Wallacia. Fantastic swimming in summer, too cold today for us though.
Mum's famous hedgehog going down a treat. For now, it's Lucho's little secret, Lexie has no idea what she's missing!
