We spent a wonderful day with Sami's old friends from his university days, meeting at their old stomping ground, the Bosphorus University.
Aydan and Kurtan - who are expecting their own little boy in July so this was an exercise in pre-natal parenting for them.
It didn't take long for Alara to capture her audience...

Eating lunch in the graduates club - a nice tradition everytime we visit.
The university grounds are a tranquil oasis in the middle of a teeming city. The grounds back onto the fortress of Rumeli Hisari which was built in the mid 15th century in order to control commercial and military traffic in preparation for the Ottoman of siege of Constantinople.
