It's been a while, but things have been done to the yard over the last few months. It's been a trial run of things that have worked and some that have not - my thumb has turned a faint shade of green...
My veggie patch. Not too bad for a first run. We get the odd piece of food from it every other week.
My stars of the patch - cucumbers. Fantastic and hardy, they make me look good!
The side bed I've put some plants that just survived the scorching heat of the summer. Not sure if they'll suit in the long run but do the job for now.
Our awning that Sami put up while we were away. Very handy - manual though, good for the butchers arms.
The casualty of the summer. We probably should have watered it more, but if it can't take the heat, it needs to vacate the kitchen in my opinion. Say goodbye fellas - you're history this coming autumn. Harsh aren't I?
