I found La the other day playing in the cupboard under the stairs. The only way I could see what she was doing was with the flash of the camera - obviously she isn't yet scared of the dark bless her - isn't bubble wrap a marvelous toy?!

Last Saturday we stole Lucho from his mum and went down the street to have a look at the annual Penrith Festival. Lots of stalls, shows and rides to see and of course Lucho couldn't go home without some fairy floss...

Waiting for Sami to go get some lunch - La was too impatient and had to get started...
Sitting and watching the Bollywood dancers and the Korean Tai Quan Do...
The Bollywood group held a little workshop - not that Lucho seemed to want to join in - but when we got home he managed to do almost the whole dance to his mother - he was sneakily paying attention! Well done Lucho!

The one ride the kiddies went on for the day - I nearly had a heart attack - $5 each!!!

Patting all the animals was fun - trying to keep La out of the pen was not!
You know what it's like - it gets very quiet outside and you start to think something is definitely up. I went outside to find both La and Lucho M.I.A. and I started to think that the little devils went out the gate when...
...surprise! They spent the best part of an hour playing in a box. Strange...
Uncle Nat came to stay for one night only which had La in a tizz - so excited to see her Uncle Nat!
I'm not sure why I persist with these close-ups - where is my soft focus lens?!?
One dirty great big watermelon has landed at ours and it has to be eaten...
...La and Sami doing watermelon shots - 1-2-3-GO!
No, really - there's not a lot happening here that is photo worthy so a couple of odd shots of nothing much...

La the Gypsy. She's recently been doing this hands-on-hips thing. Cute for the time being until it gets paired with some attitude I'm guessing.
Jill's birthday nearly snuck past undetected but I couldn't let it pass without at least a plate of failed cupcakes. My baking can reach the dizzy heights of sponge, mousse and train cakes but do you think I can get cupcakes right? Not once have they ever turned out well and everytime it's something else that is not quite right. These ones sank. This captain is going down with her ship.
Lucho and La jamming the afternoon away.
