Jill's birthday nearly snuck past undetected but I couldn't let it pass without at least a plate of failed cupcakes. My baking can reach the dizzy heights of sponge, mousse and train cakes but do you think I can get cupcakes right? Not once have they ever turned out well and everytime it's something else that is not quite right. These ones sank. This captain is going down with her ship.

Love the gypsy to bits. Don't let the sunken cooking get to you Relle, it is amazing what cream or icing with do do cover up the disasters!!!!! Happy Birthday to Jill
