We arranged a while ago to go camping with Dave and Larissa and some friends of theirs in Wiseman's Ferry but as the weekend rolled in, so did the rain. Not to worry, we upgraded to cabins and got down to the business of relaxing and eating as much as one possibly could!

Dave on reading duty with Seb and Charlie.
Katie was La's self-appointed babysitter for the weekend - she couldn't have been more helpful.
We made our way into town for a pub lunch on Saturday by bike, on foot, in pram and on shoulders. Here we are on the ferry...
Christina on the ferry without her two front teeth.
Obviously well acquainted with the chilly weather these Poms!
An assortment of kids, rain jackets and trouble at the pub.
Sunday was sunny and nice - good for a spot of tennis....
....and mini golf.
La did her best to get in the way of everyone but she was good at finding lost balls.
The BMX track was a favourite with everyone having a go - when she wasn't on the bike, La was running around the track following Charlie.
Here she is on the bike with Sami lending a hand.
The caravan park had a great bouncing pillow that was a hit with everyone.

Couldn't keep La away from it! Thanks everyone for a fabulous time - we had a ball!
La has fully embraced her position in the kitchen and now we are well on the way to handing over the reigns (I truly cannot wait!). She runs and gets her apron Ma Ma made her and gets right to work...

Helping Baba make his bread...
Watching the master at work!
Looks like she's got the technique right - mind, we left her pieces for her especially to eat - aren't we nice!
Ta da!
Here we are making patty cakes. Finally I found a recipe that worked! Or maybe La was the difference?
The spoon is her utensil of choice - I wasn't going to let her get near the beaters!
Let's pretend that I let her put the mixture into the patty cases...
Finished! We finally got it right - mind the icing was a bit basic, it was getting to the end of the day...

Delicious!

Butterfly faces just like Lexie...
Enjoying an afternoon treat.
