Following on from last weeks post about Stormy coming to stay - here are some more pics of what the poor pup had to put up with....
Being carted around from pillar to post the entire day...
...without fail. He's lucky that she didn't go and get some clothes to dress him up - I'm sure had he stayed any longer then he would've become a she!
He loved it can't you tell?!?
First day of spring saw a lot of birthdays, and closer to home, La's friend Sienna turned 4 so it was off to celebrate with some flowers picked especially for her garden.
It was a fairy theme party so everyone wore their fairy dresses and wings. La was actually very excited even if this particular pic doesn't seem to show it.
All the girls together dressed as fairies - so cute!
Pass the parcel of course was a party game.
Next, it was time to decorate your own cupcake - La's creation titled "Fairy Garden Cake"
Then, it was on to making fairy wands for everyone to take home.
Sienna with her icecream cake that was devoured in a matter of minutes by children and adults alike.
Addison and La patiently waiting for cake. We had such a great day - thanks Linda for organising such a lovely party!
Here's to another week of fun and games...
La has inherited Lucho's stash of flannels - surprising really that we didn't have any of our own...
A bit convoluted - La's little friend's brother invited her to come to his 11th birthday party to keep his little sister company (he's such a good kid) so it was party pool-style for the afternnoon. Here's La waiting for her turn on the inflatable thing...
...that I lovingly refer to as Every Nervous Parent's Nightmare. I swear, these things give me the hebbies, I'm just waiting for a little person to get stuck underneath and I'm not known for my irrational fears either folks.
The new aquatic centre has great facilities though and La's swimming is coming along brilliantly.
Stormy came to visit for the weekend which made La super happy...

...and perhaps Stormy not so much. He didn't get a minute to himself the whole time - picked up and carried about, put in prams and pushed about. He really suffered as the object of her affections for the weekend!

This week we will be bringing you a sponsored post from Bunnings who put on a great show for the kiddies one Saturday. Clowns, free food, animals and prizes - we walked away not spending a cent in store, full of popcorn and sausages, with our faces painted and a stash of balloon animals too. Even won a prize. Can't beat these guys for making a cheap parent look good!
Finally, since Easter La has wanted to hold a little chick - thank you Bunnings!

Holding a mouse - I took this pic from the other side of the parking lot with a long lens zoom. I am not a fan of rodents.
A guinea pig. I think. Maybe it's a hamster. I don't know the difference, they are all one step away from a mouse in my eyes so I'll keep guessing from a distance.
La force feeding the rabbits who have probably been force feed by all the other kids before her. I wonder if these poor little things get counseling after these events.
Onto other things - La and her Lambie are best of friends at the moment - until she gets traded in for Duckie, Katie or Cherry that is...
La was most insistent that we photograph her current flavour of the month in her Sunday best. Kids are cute sometimes.
