Where would we be without our friends at the beach? Completely beachless of course! Always happy to go visit the Foreman's for their fabulous company and their lovely sand and sea.
Still in winter we didn't really anticipate any dipping in the water, so when we strolled down to the beach for some sand play we were quite unprepared for enthusiastic swimmers!
La and Charlie stripped down to their bare essentials to have a swim. I really only expected La to pop in a toe and then declare it too cold, but no, she ran straight in and stayed in!
After getting dry and warm again it was onto sand sculptures and creations. I saw them darting back and forth but didn't realise what they were making until we got up to leave. How very lovely!
The Ultimate Sandpit.
Christina bumped into some school friends and they were quick to join in, in the sand and playing pass the baby with Leyla. I love tweens and their love of babies!
Soaking in the winter sun.
Leyla and Christina - together forever!
Picnic in the bush the next day in anticipation of a little bush walk.
Lizards sunning themselves on a rock.
La tried her best to get close to the resident wallaby as he looked around for the best meal.
Off on a bush walk - one of La's absolute favourite pastimes...
...Leyla's as well!
La leading the way with a little (necessary) guidance required.
Some lovely waterfalls.
Testing the depth of the water.
The Brits horrified at the thought of drinking the water mind you. We'll get these guys on an outback safari yet.....xo
