The time arrived for Leyla to take the plunge, get her jacket on, grab a paddle and take the raft out for a spin. Well, she swam in the jacket, refused to hold a paddle and grabbed onto me instead, but, after a while she got the gist of what we were up to and we were away.
Yay!!! ??? Maybe?? Maybe not?!?!
La was super encouraging...
...having mastered rafting already.

Of course La had to jump in and then go on to freeze for the rest of the ride!
Happy to not hold on quite so hard...
