It's the end of the year so school is winding up and we are catching up with friends before we head down to the farm for Christmas...
Leyla is right into cutting up her fruit for her dinner, she is just loving helping out.
Alara's school Presentation Assembly where she received the Citizenship Award in her class.
 Well Done La!
Quick photo at the end of the assembly.
Photogenic proof that Baba was there to see it all go down - he had to skip off to work half way through.
Back home and super proud of her medal.
Lucho's Christmas Party and who should turn up?
 Santa himself of course!
The kids having a great time giving and receiving their presents.
These two are never unhappy about getting more chocolates!
Everyone is immersed in their gifts - thanks Jill and Morgs for a great night as always!
 Baking Christmas biscuits today...
 ...wee little reindeers.
The jaffa's split a little - the originals called for M&Ms but I wanted red noses only and didn't want to have to eat the remaining colours (really Narelle?!?). They tasted good nonetheless.
Now we are at the beach visiting Charlie and Christina and look who's discovered Christina's lipstick...
...Baba quick to get it off (after a pic of course!)
La's been hit with the lip-stick as well. Charlie managed to escape un-made up.
Dave and Sami talking tech I think.
And look at little Max!! Not so little anymore, 8 months and desperate to go places.
 La's present from the kids...
...and Leyla's cute little Owl bag from the markets - thanks for thinking of us!
Down to the park for a little play...
 ...in the sand...
...that Max isn't a real fan of. Leyla and Max will be great mates I think.
Finishing off the afternoon with a touch of cricket. Thanks for the great day Foreman Family!

It's birthday time!!! La turned 6 and Leyla turned 2 on a lovely sunny Sunday this year, so it was our duty to fill the whole day with fun, family and birthday cake of course!
La had a special visitor for the week - Sparkles, the class bear from Kindy.
 Hold on! Another special visitor...
...and another! Ma Ma, Aunty Lou, Toby and Beau all made the trip up for Super Sunday.
A morning spent at the Olympic Aquatic Centre to play on Saturday first...
...Leyla and Beau itching to get into the water (not really, but they got into it later on!)
Home again for some serious playing...
 ...and eating...
...and general destruction of the backyard.
 Two Peas.
Saturday night was spent under the careful watch of Foreman Lou constructing the girls birthday present.
 The finished product.
Super Sunday is here! Happy Birthday La and Leyla!!!
 Group Jammie Shot.
 Ta Da!
Leyla's a tea lady now thanks to Aunty Lou.
Loving her blocks from Jack, Will and Lucy.
The hat fits perfectly thanks Aunty Kara!
Special delivery from Mr Flynn (can't seem to get that pic the right way up - sorry!)
Time to go to the park for a play with friends, morning tea and some cake!
Birthday girls in their birthday outfits!
We had a surprise visitor turn up - Baba!!! He was on a day shift and the crew didn't take much convincing to come down to the park for a piece of cake!
All the kiddies were pretty chuffed to have a fire truck all to themselves to explore.
Baba didn't want to miss out on any of the fun!
Ma Ma and Lou's assortment of slices went down a real treat with these fellas.
 Time for Cake No 1!!!
After coming home for a well deserved rest, it was then time to put on our party dresses for dinner out at Spurs.
 Leyla's new birthday outfit.
 Group shot.
The restaurant is one of those fantastic places that has a playground to keep kids occupied while you eat. Leyla's pretending to know what to do with this computer game.
 Waiting For Food.
A nice chance to sit and catch up with Jill (not pictured) while the kids have fun in the playground.
Time to eat and time for Cake No 2. Thus ended a lovely, long, rowdy day. Phew!
Here's the cakes from the day - Alara's duck...
...and Leyla's heart which we had at the restaurant. All designed and decorated by Lou - an exceptional talent who'll we'll miss desperately next year now that her November trip days are over. And let's not forget the cupcakes she decorated for La's class as well. Sigh, I'll have to do my own cakes from now on. Thanks for taking the time and making the effort to come visit Ma Ma and Lou. Thanks everyone for all your wonderful presents and messages of love for the girls!!! xxo
