A busy little post about our busy little bees!
Alara's whole kindy (prep) class wandered across the road from their school to visit the local fire station. Funny enough, it was the exact same fire station that Sami inhabits - what are the chances eh?!?
The boys put on a good little show talking about fire safety, what they do in the community and of course, all the fantastic equipment they get to use. The fire hose was the most anticipated and consequently, most talked about part of the tour.

La went to her friend's cupcake party the other afternoon. They got to decorate the cake boxes, the cupcakes themselves and also bake some biscuits.
The final result. Plenty for everyone. And do you know what? Even though they look a little unappealing, they tasted FANTASTIC! The icing melted in your mouth and the the cakes were red velvet. Fancy pants. Sooooooo gooooooood!
I didn't try the lone biscuit though. La had such a great time!

My two waiting patiently for cake. Leyla proceeded to demolish hers and then clean up everyone else's plates. Loves herself some cake this one....
