We had one super special birthday to celebrate down the beach this year - Old Pa turning 87! We were so happy he was able to come and spend some time with us at Kingston, especially since he and Nana started all this beach fun all those years ago!

We had some plans that got delayed due to some rainy weather that
morning but we at least found a few minutes to spend with the big
lobster.
Back for Old Pa's fish and chip lunch...

After lunch we were able to do what we attempted earlier - go to the tractor museum! Old Pa was in his element looking around at all the machinery.
La and Jack and all the kids had a ball roaming around, looking at all the Olden Day Stuff and peppering the owner with a million questions.

A good little excursion for our tribe of a least a dozen that afternoon. But, Old Stuff can only hold their attention for so long, so we left Old Pa to continue his visit while we hoped across the road to the...
...skate park! There's a couple of smarty pants amongst us who have a keen radar for fun and made sure we put all the scooters and bikes in the cars before we left.
Only a few epic stacks, a lot of good recoveries and many brave attempts that afternoon. We had a great day out with Old Pa, celebrating him and always appreciative of his generosity in opening up his Kingston home to us all every year.
