Party, Dad's Day and a new pet...

A collision of events this post with sporting fun, celebrating Father's Day and introducing our newest pet to the family.
La had a school friend's party the other week and it was at a local sports centre and involved a whole bunch of fun sports and games. Leyla was a bit miffed that she was too little (and not wanted) to play the games so she ate all their oranges. No seriously, she did.
There's some dodge ball above and here's some soccer.
 Pizza for lunch. Of course.
And a magnificent Olympic swimming pool for the swimming-mad party girl.
Father's Day. With the school, preschool and playgroups all using the week leading up to it to get their craft on. Hence the cascade of cards!
Leyla's questionnaire dictated to her preschool teacher.
The school's Father's Day stall did not disappoint providing not only a fab mug (because you can never have too many of those) but also a fold-up bucket. Perfect for spew says La. Joy.
Of course an assortment of chocolates and loving messages made the day complete - love you Baba!
Meet Juliet. We couldn't leave it too long to find another companion for Janet as she seemed a little lost and lonely since Miss Lilly died the other week.
Juliet is an all white, feisty little go-getter who has fitting in well around here and made firm friends with Janet.
Technically she is Leyla's guinea pig. Mostly she is La's because she's the one who actually picks her up! Ha ha. Leyla loves her guinea pigs mostly in theory, less so in practice, but she's a gun at filling up their water and giving them their food occasionally when La has slept in so she makes up for it.
