It's Birthday Week!

It doesn't take long before these fellas turn up and then we all know what time it is.........Birthday Week!!!!!
Things started to heat up too so we were on the hunt for things to do to keep cool in between baby sleeps.
Miss Annie giving us the last of our baby times - lucky I've kept a few toys back and lucky for her, La and Leyla are always on hand to lend a hand.
Auntie Ruth took the girls out on a birthday shopping afternoon to pick out something perfect for themselves and have a milkshake too.
The morning of the 24th and after all their jobs were done ready for school, it was present time!
We gave Leyla a head of hair.
La got a big bike from us and her helmet from Auntie Kara.
You know Aunty Lou is in the house when Leyla's hair is done.
A super morning full of love in the form of special gifts and we are so thankful to everyone for thinking of us. Off to school now, loaded with cakes and slices for their class to celebrate.
That night we headed out for a pub dinner with...
...Toby...
...Lucho, Morgs...
...Auntie Ruth (and Uncle Bill!) getting in her baby cuddles...
...and Jill and Mum catching up over a drink.
Again, you know Auntie Lou is in the house when you have cakes like this...
...for Leyla. La was quick to let everyone know that this was Leyla's cake haha
The next day it was pool party time with a combined party at our local aquatic centre.
The crew and the set up ready to party!
Two hours of fun and games with friends and family and me driving this lifeguard insane with my constant concerns that "someone might be stuck under the inflatable". Poor fella.
Rounding up everyone for a sing and some cake in the dying minutes of the party.
And Auntie Lou impressed again, this time with La's cake. Such a great week as always, some a little different but hopefully, we never disappoint! Thanks to Ma Ma, Auntie Lou and the kids for making the trek up - it wouldn't be the same kind of fun without you!!!
