We had a stellar Christmas this year with some lovely surprises for everyone.
The usual Christmas present unwrapping mayhem that always goes down a treat.
It didn't take long for the day to get busy once all the crew turned up!
Ma Ma and Pa's gift to everyone was some super fab kayaks.
We all headed down to the dam later on in the afternoon to take them out for their inaugural paddle.
Obviously, boats weren't the only thing going in the water haha
Even Leyla had a try and soon figured she'd be really great at it.....next year.
Definitely a spectator sport.
So the kayaks were (are!) a hit and have been thoroughly used and loved in dams, lakes, oceans and rivers since they've arrived.
The Boxing Day Altus get together was down the beach at Glen's shack as it was Simon and Helen's turn to host. As usual, it did not take long for everyone to settle in and have some fun.
Our Cousin Trio all turned ten over the summer.
It was only kid-warm enough to go for a swim though on the day.
