We Do Summer So Well...

We book-ended our weeks back at the farm with loads of fun and visitors.
Annie turned one so a pool party was in order to beat the heat.
Pizza and cake satisfied big and little people alike.
Flynn, Greta and Honor made their way down for their annual farm stay. This year we went to see Naracoorte caves and swam in the town lake.
Keeping a lid on the shenanigans (just!) for lunch in the cafe.
Such a lovely spot and strangely enough, not one we had visited at all as kids.
 The Rexcells.
Compulsory Farm Stay Ute Load.
Mum arranged for the tribe to visit Trina's animal sanctuary and she was very patient with our fidgety crew.
So lucky to feed and get close to all the rescue wildlife. The star of the show was this little wombat though - so cheeky!
Australia Day weekend was when we were all together - Nat, Julz and the kids came down and we took the first opportunity to get out the Xmas kayaks at the local reservoir.
 Matt giving La a tow...
 ...and now being inundated!
We don't need much of a reason to have cake and a celebration - we combined our late January birthday babies Rory, Zetty and Annie for a perfect excuse to party!
Toby is Too Cool.
 Some xmas-slash-birthday gift giving.
Helping Annie enjoy her new ball.
Elsa and Ana have joined the party.
The best pic of the bunch. That's the sum of all us - what a cheery lot haha. Next group photo we'll have to get inventive (and do it before everyone gets tired and cranky!). We ended our visit with another trip to the pool that afternoon to be the heat which revived everyone's flagging spirits. Till next year....
