We were lucky to have a couple of weeks between Easter and the school holidays which segmented the term quite nicely. What did we get up to you ask???
Last swim for the season (kind of) in the river before the weather cools off.
A bit of food, a bit of drink, some chairs and a view. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.
Jimayne had a birthday which is always a good reason to go out for lunch - Linda did not disappoint with her cake skills - it was a Banoffee dessert which was absolutely glorious to eat.
Another very edible item on the day too. Yes, Koby, I'm talking to you...
Leyla helped her school friend Zoe to celebrate her birthday at the always exciting local Maccas.
Trying to insert a wee bit of culture into our lives with a play from one of La's favourite books. Leyla was not convinced that all this was a good idea.
Putting on a brave face is Leyla - she found it too loud and a little too much. Still, there's a first time for everything and I think the next play she goes to she'll enjoy it more no doubt.
Crafting via YouTube and their drawing tutorials.
We made the decision to re-home our lovely guinea ladies after having a great few years with them but finding that we just weren't giving them the attention that they needed and deserved. Luckily for us, a beautiful foster family with special needs kids wanted to adopt and take them into their bustling home so I couldn't be happier with the eventual outcome. We were so lucky and blessed to have Janet and Juliette and hope they thrive in their new home.
Term 1 goals - morning tea with the head honcho.
La styling her Toby look.
Apparently this was a necessary photo to take...
