It was mandated by the council chiefs this year that all X Day gifts or acts of kindness in recognition of X Day be handmade - chiefs were then left wondering about the wisdom of their frugality...
...but they weren't disappointed! Mind, on first appearances, a watering can in newspaper wrapping did not inspire confidence but once we delved deeper we found something special.
La had left her footprints all over the can with the leftover paint from the bedrooms...
...and here she is on my magnet card made just for me and the fridge. Bless them both, a lovely thought for Mother's Day.
