The story continues...
It's the 24th! Actual Birthday Day. It's a school day for La who was excited to take in some birthday biscuits for her class. But first, it's presents and birthday calls from Pa.
Leyla got a new scooter of her very own.
La is the proud owner of some Heely's so she can skate around the shops.
It's not an Ercan Child birthday without some hard partying of some kind - and Leyla has a black eye to prove she's as hardcore as they come.
Off to the park in the morning with the remaining kids after school drop off. Trying to beat the heat and I'm collecting Auntie points taking all of them on my own.
Davy was happy just hanging out with me.
These other guys needed some snacks to entice them over.
It was time for Leyla's cake after dinner. She had spent quite some time deciding what she wanted and settled on the swimming pool cake.
No birthday dinner is quite complete without Lucho and his folks joining us.

The next day was Steve's birthday. Phew! La took the day off today to spend with the kids so we made our way down to the river nearby for a swim and an explore.

We had a fantastic week with the Excells and Ma Ma and all our lovely friends celebrating the girls birthdays. We love having everyone come to stay and love that the enormous effort has been made for 7 years now. So, so lucky!!!!
