We had a change of scenery this year for Easter. We headed down the farm a term early this year and joined in with Ma Ma and Pa's camping fun. But first, before we left, we needed to parade...
La opted to decorate a basket this year in lieu of making a hat at the school's Easter Hat Parade. Leyla was busting to join in on the fun.
This is the last one for La as it's only for K-2.
The Line Up.
Arrived at the farm, just in time for bike riding...
...scrub exploring...
...and old tractor riding.
Setting up the camping area for the next few nights.
La doing her bit.
Having a rest with Pa.
No visit is complete without some yabbie hunting.
No squealing here from La. Leyla was another story though.
Uncle Steve in his element.
Davy claiming his spot by the fire.
Stoking the fire Pa style.
This is what it's all about folks.
The night before Easter...
...and he delivered!
Two Very Excited Girls.
The boys showing me their stash.
Lou made up a great treasure map for Toby and La for their egg hunt and we had fun following them around as they collected the goods. The little ones got to scramble for eggs in the backyard instead - a little more suitable for them. You'll have to hop over to Lou's blog for the pics.
