We had a fantastic weekend planned for Mum's 60th. Dad organised a party for Saturday night and we all helped make it a fantastic night. But first, lunch on Mum's actually birthday on Friday with some cake in the park afterwards.
We rounded up just a few of the available grand kids for a wee little celebration.
Old Pa wouldn't miss out on some cake of course!
The Celebrations. Laura's sign she made with all the grandkids hand prints (footprints for the babies). Not all were on there by this stage, but after the weekend Louie had managed to have everyone's print.
The Lovely Birthday Lady.
Looking back...
...and up! The balloons were a constant source of fun that night.

Even the ute got dressed up.
Matt with the right baby.
Leyla in her favourite spot for the night.
All of Old Pa's great grand kids together. With one extra. Ha Ha. Who can keep track?
The Heinrich Family Variety 1/2 Hour begins with a skit...
...Nathan was MC...
...Dad had some yarns and a few jokes...
...as did Lexie.
Another skit featuring Steve the Wallflower.
"11 Things We Love About Our Mum"
We got a few laughs.
Mum nervously anticipating what was coming next.
The final act - the cake with all her lovely people around her.
The Cake. Created by Laura.
The next day, the kids were keen to recreate the show for us all.
And they were spot on! Ha Ha!
Such a fun night and weekend. A great way to celebrate Mum and all that she's done and the family she and Dad have created.
