This year, Sami and I decided to capitalise on Ma Ma and Pa's annual March trip and take some time away for ourselves while they stayed and held down the fort...
First though, a little day trip to Jellybean rock pools for La to launch herself off the rock just so she knows she can do it.
Was a little bit of a damp day but not enough to stop us from heading out.
Leyla attempting her own little milestone - getting in.
Shelter from the rain.
In and around the usual school week, Ma Ma and Pa took the girls away for a little mini-break up the mountains through to Lithgow and around to Jenolan caves.
Ma Ma's blog will have the full account and more pictures but from all accounts a ball was had spending Saturday traversing the Blue Mountains on the skyrail and steep rail cart and Sunday at Jenolan Caves.
It was a lovely opportunity for the girls to spend time with their fantastic grand-folks and we will be eternally grateful for their help and efforts. Same time next year?!?
While we were away, Leyla got her first assembly award! Well done Leyla!
