Getting into the swing of things...

Being back to school all the things start to happen and everyone gets a little busy...

 Alara was elected as a Year 6 SRC representative and was made President so their was a badge pinning ceremony to mark the occasion.

Alara made it into District Swimming again for her efforts alongside Marissa and Ally. She came 10th in freestyle, 6th in backstroke, 11th in butterfly and her relay team came 9th. Well done La.

 And Leyla made it to her first ever District Carnival! Well Done Leyla.

One race, freestyle but unfortunately, she made herself so nervous that when she dived in, she panicked, forgot how to swim and paddled into last place. Poor Leyla! Not the best way to start off her swimming career but a wee little life lesson learned that day and hopefully she'll feel a little better prepared the next time round.

The girls got some passes for their birthday to our local inflatable swim lake so we made a lunch date of it while they had some fun.

 Cooking Adventures at Home - the lid to the salt shaker came off in my curry one day and here we are assessing the damage and seeing if it was salvageable. It was thankfully - phew!
