Alara had a 101 Dalmatians moment at her friends house with 14 six week old German Shepard puppies - it was quite a sight to see them all run up together!

We took Paulina out for the day for her birthday this year to rock climbing and Ally from down the road joined in the fun.

Leyla had a good shot at each of the different walls as well.
Alara's year 6 class decided to hold a sausage sizzle and bake sale at our recent state election where the school was a polling station. A lot of work was put into the signage and organising pricing...
...baking and selling it all at the stall - such a great turn out and everyone worked hard.
And so did the parents and teachers who made it all happen (naturally).
Sometimes, La gets to do some pretty fun things seen as she's older and we like to suggest to Leyla that rather than get all moochy about it, lets turn it around and make it a Leyla Day instead. First she chose and cooked her favourite pancake breakfast, played unlimited card games with us and then out later on for ice cream. See, it's not so bad to be left behind sometimes...
